A Baltimore energy company commits to renewable energy.
" Constellation Energy says it is setting aside $90 million to support the development of commercial-scale solar power systems.
Constellation Energy says the money will be used to finance, design, construct and own onsite solar installations for its customers. About $18 million has already been committed to projects in Maryland and New Jersey.
Baltimore-based Constellation Energy says it currently has about 25 megawatts of solar power systems installed or under development nationwide, including a 17.1-megawatt project in Emmitsburg that it says will be among the largest in the country."
